Happy Summer Solstice from Kiyoka

Happy Summer Solstice ❤️

The Summer Solstice is a time when days are at their longest and when we receive the most sun energy.

It inspires me to reflect on polarity, and especially sun energy within me. Sun energy is considered a masculine energy and moon energy is considered a feminine energy in yogic anatomy.

Regardless of gender, we all have this polarity within us.

Masculine energy is a focused, single, and pointed energy that helps us to take actions to manifest our desires in life.

This one-ness can be evolved into wholeness with spiritual practices.

To balance and heal the masculine energy within us, or the relationship we have with any male figures in our life, there is a wonderful Shabad we can use that in rooted in  kundalini yoga tradition. This Shabad also helps to nurture the soul and creative energy.

This mantra is long, so I like to listen to and chant along with the music.

Enjoy a link to the mantra below

Masculine energy is as equally important as feminine energy.

When we embrace both the masculine and feminine energy around us, we can harmonize our polarity, and balance life to its truest potential.

This is my favorite meditation to bring sun/moon energy in balance.
