Hola! I'm Ingrid Barnhart and I'm a lifestyle photographer in Austin, Texas. For me, taking photographs is all about capturing moments and documenting memories so my clients can keep them forever. When I photograph couples and families I look for interactions - a kiss, a laugh, a look - where a photograph will save a feeling that the family can look back on and cherish. Life moves and changes quickly, and photos can help preserve the moments we don't want to forget.

I grew up in beautiful Barranquilla, Colombia, and I've loved photography as long as I can remember. My father loved it as well, and I remember as a child watching him take photos of everything and then develop the photos by hand. After graduating from high school I dreamt of becoming a professional photographer, but it wasn't until after I moved to the United States in 2013 that I could actually follow that dream. I spent a few years adapting to my new country and language and when my boyfriend (now husband) gave me my first professional camera for Christmas I dove into learning everything I could and started my photography business. When a friend asked me to do a boudoir shoot for her I fell absolutely in love, and I added that to my portfolio along with couples and family photography. 

I have two beautiful girls and I love using my camera to document our family life together. I live with my daughters and husband in Round Rock, Texas. When I’m not with my camera or my babies, I love to relax watching Netflix (of course!), working out at the gym, or reading books. I love to read about healthy lifestyles and to save recipes to cook for my family - my husband and I are foodies! We love to go out and try new restaurants and to cook at home, and I try to make my husband happy by cooking a lot of Colombian food.
